How we handle your data and what you own

When you bring AI into how your business runs, the fair questions are simple: what happens to our data, who owns what you build, and are we going to get locked into something. Here are straight answers. Your engagement agreement governs the specifics; this page explains how we think and work.

Your data stays yours

To build things that actually work, we need to see how your business runs — your processes, your systems, and sometimes your data. We treat all of it as confidential. We use it only to do the work you've hired us for, we don't sell or share it, and we don't use it to train AI models for anyone else. When an engagement ends, we return or delete what we're holding at your request.

You own what we build

Whatever we build for you — workflows, agents, automations, documentation — is yours. The systems, the data, and the know-how stay with you. No black boxes you can't see into, and nothing that quietly stops working the day we step back. The specific ownership and licensing terms are set out in your engagement agreement.

Tool choices serve you, not us

We're not a reseller, and we don't have a platform to push. We have go-to tools we trust from experience, but every deployment is built around your business. We start by mapping what you already run, then choose — or build — the tools that fit your goals and integrate with your existing systems. You're never locked into our preferences, and you can keep running what we build without us.

How we keep things secure

We use reasonable, practical safeguards to protect what you share with us: access limited to the people actually doing your work, careful handling of credentials and data, and vetted tools rather than whatever's newest. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise — but we treat your access and information with the same care we'd want for our own.
