Privacy Policy

Avolis AI ("Avolis," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through avolis.ai (the "Site"), why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business, we use a business-identification service that involves sharing site visit data with a third party, and we do not use your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of that sharing at any time using the link in our footer.

Information you share with us during a paid client engagement is also governed by your engagement agreement, which controls where it overlaps with this policy.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you contact us, book a call, submit our contact form, use our calculators, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect what you choose to give us. That typically includes your name, company, role, work email, phone number, and any details you share about your business, its operations, and what you're trying to solve.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit the Site we and our analytics providers automatically collect technical information, including your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, referring URLs, the pages and links you interact with, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this using cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies and analytics").

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, financial account numbers, or health information) through the Site, and we ask that you not submit it through our forms.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your inquiries and communicate with you;

  • scope, provide, and improve our services and engagements;

  • send communications you have requested, such as updates or newsletters (you can opt out at any time);

  • operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Site;

  • protect the security and integrity of the Site, prevent fraud or misuse, and enforce our terms; and

  • comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site and understand how it is used. This includes Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, which help us measure traffic and improve our content. These tools may set cookies and collect the usage data described above, processed by Google as our service provider. You can review Google's privacy practices in its privacy policy and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser opt-out add-on.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, though some parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.

Website visitor identification

We use ZoomInfo WebSights, a service provided by ZoomInfo Technologies LLC, to identify which organizations visit avolis.ai.

What is collected. Your IP address, the pages you view, the time and duration of your visit, your referring source, and your browser and device type. The service stores identifiers in cookies on your device so it can recognize a repeat visit.

What we do with it. ZoomInfo matches your IP address against its database of IP-to-organization pairings and reports the likely company name, industry, size, and location back to us. We use this to prioritize outreach and to understand which content reaches the businesses we serve. The reporting we receive is at the organization level.

Who receives it. ZoomInfo Technologies LLC processes this data and also uses it for its own commercial purposes. Their handling is governed by the ZoomInfo Privacy Policy at https://www.zoominfo.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Where it runs. We run this service only for visitors located in the United States. If you are visiting from outside the US, the service does not load and no data is sent to ZoomInfo.

How to opt out. Use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal automatically, so if your browser sends it, the service never loads. You can raise a request directly with ZoomInfo through their Privacy Center or at privacy@zoominfo.com. Opting out has no effect on your ability to use the Site.

Retention. Visit records are retained for 24 months and then deleted.

How we share information

We do not use your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do use a business-identification service that involves disclosing site visit data to a third party for its own commercial purposes, which some US state laws treat as a "sale" or "share." You can opt out at any time. We disclose personal information as follows:

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services for us — for example, website hosting, analytics (Google), customer-relationship management (CRM), email, and scheduling providers — who may use it only to provide services to us.

  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law or legal process, or where we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or that of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.

  • With your direction or consent.

Payments are handled off-Site through a separate third-party processor and are not collected through this Site.

Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or integrate third-party websites and services we do not control. This policy does not cover their practices; we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements — then we delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can:

  • Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, by emailing team@avolis.ai; and

  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by contacting us.

Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under US privacy laws, described below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to:

  • Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it;

  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions;

  • Correct inaccurate personal information;

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We disclose website visit data to ZoomInfo Technologies LLC, as described under "Website visitor identification," and California law may treat this as a sale or share. You can opt out at any time using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals automatically;

  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information in ways that require an opt-out; and

  • Be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email, phone, and IP address), commercial and professional information (such as company and role), and internet or network activity (such as usage and device data). We collect it directly from you and automatically through the Site, and use and disclose it for the business purposes described above.

We disclose identifiers (IP address) and internet or network activity (pages viewed, visit times, referring source, browser and device type) to ZoomInfo Technologies LLC, a business-identification provider, so we can identify the organizations that visit our Site. California law may treat this disclosure as a sale or share. We have not sold or shared any other category of personal information, and we do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16.

To exercise your rights, email team@avolis.ai. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Other US state privacy rights

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas, among others) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal data. We do not engage in targeted advertising. We disclose site visit data to a business-identification provider, and you may opt out using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer. To exercise any available rights, contact us at team@avolis.ai.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, we do not currently respond to them. We treat recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and we honor them automatically for every visitor regardless of where you live.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Where we operate

Avolis AI is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Site and our services are intended for users in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the US, understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

Client confidentiality

Information you share about your business during a paid engagement is treated as confidential, and any systems we build for you are governed by your engagement agreement, which takes precedence over this policy where they overlap.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy here. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
